I've even seen some Dogwoods blooming, but traffic didn't allow photographs. This is a confusing winter for the plants. I suppose we will get some really cold weather, an ice storm or snow, and we will lose the blooms in the actual spring.
The same thing is happening here in NorCal. I suspect it is going to ruin many crops...
ReplyDeleteWe've had an unseasonably warm winter here in Alberta too. Not warm enough to get things growing though. I just know that we'll get a blast of real winter from next week on, because next weekend DH is firing up the greenhouse, and we will be paying for that heat. Hence, winter will come.
