is my laundry room floor. I have two front teeth. (Four, actually, but you know what I mean.)
The linoleum, or whatever it was, was torn out a month or so ago, and because of an impasse on what should replace it, the floor is still just plywood.
I want a single, solid piece of vinyl that will absorb nothing that the cat does (I promised not to write about that again) but dh wants tile. Why? Who knows?
a. Because tile is more difficult to install?
b. Because tile is more difficult to clean?
c. Because the project will take longer with tile and annoy the bejeebus out of me?
I don’t know.
But I’d like it before Christmas, please

I hear ya on the cat front - something that can withstand that is important!
Hope your Christmas wish comes true!
I got my new laundry room (and kitchen and bathroom)floor before Christmas. I could have done tile myself and saved a ton of money on installation, but tile is hard on "old" joints, so we went with a high-end lino (Armstrong Natural Fusion). This product is warrantied against stains (maybe that means pet stains, too). yes, Knittergran, there are lots of things I can't do--but I attempt only the things I size up as being do-able, either by problem-solving, reading a book, or asking DH. he knows all about electrical and plumbing, but hasn't the fine hand co-ordination or patience any more. So we make a good team.
